I have been involved in Pharaoh Hounds for over 7 years. I was inquiring about Pharaoh Hounds and heard that Pam and Thom Haig were the top breeders, well respected and kind people. I contaced Pam and explained I wanted a Pharaoh Hound that I could show and possibly special and breed.
I flew to Gardnerville, Nevada and pickup Simone, my new Pharaoh Hound! I asked Pam if I could take her outside and move her. Well, there was noting more to be said. From the beginning, Simone's lines were beautiful, along with her movement and although her temperament was a little sweet when I got her, which concerned me, as I wanted a lot of attitude for the show ring, this soon changed into, I can do anything! And she did.
In November 2005, we packed up and moved from the city to horse country in Acton, California with our new Pharaoh Hound. I bought almost 3-acres. My Pharaoh Hounds have free roam of the property and live inside. They sleep inside and lay by the fire place on cold evenings. They were raised and fed on 75% natural food and filtered water. |
